10 Things for September
The book I can’t put down, the boob tape that actually lifts and lets you skip the bra, and the wellness fix that had me in Hulk mode at the gym.
10 Things for September
1. Book
The Sicilian Inheritance by Jo Piazza — I’m in my “fall is for stories with history, travel, and a little glamour” era. This one is part family mystery, part Italian dreamscape, and fully bingeable. Perfect for curling up with a latte that’s slowly transitioning from iced to hot.
2. Recipe
Ina Garten’s Perfect Roast Chicken — September always makes me want to roast something cozy. It’s Sunday dinner made chic. Add crispy potatoes and a green salad and suddenly you’re the person with a signature dish.
3. Scent
Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady — my signature fragrance for 7 years and one of those perfumes that feels like an entrance all on its own. Fun fact: Chloe Malle, the new Vogue editor, is not only Frederic’s niece but also Candice Bergen’s daughter. I was today years old when I found that out. September is the perfect month for a scent that’s equal parts mysterious and chic.
4. Closet
Nood boob tape — If September had a dress code, it would be weddings, fundraisers, and back-to-school nights that require you to pull it together in something chic and occasionally strapless. And for those dresses where a bra just won’t do, this is the tape you want in your drawer. It actually lifts, it stays put through a whole night (sweatproof), and it doesn’t make you wince when you peel it off. I’m a C/D and it works beautifully for me. I also just bought this with their 20% off code bc I’ve heard great things. Before Nood, my friends and I resorted to packing tape under dresses (yes, really), and let me tell you, never again. This is one of those little fixes that makes every outfit better and you’ll wonder how you lived without it. 20% off “laborday20”
5. Download
The TableWith App — Hosting made simple, gatherings made meaningful. Think cookbook club without the group text chaos. The app manages RSVPs, cookbook selections, and recipes so you can focus on wine pouring and laughing with friends. Bonus, it’s created by my friend Jillian Eversole , which makes me love it even more.
6. Sip
Cann Social Tonic — a little sparkling buzz, a little herbal chill. Perfect for evenings when it’s still too hot for red wine but you want something more elevated than sparkling water. I especially love the cardamom and lavender flavors.
7. For Your Space
Mackenzie Childs pumpkins — a little whimsical, a little preppy, and the fastest way to make your entryway look like it’s ready for fall hosting. They don’t rot in the heat like real pumpkins, so they’ll look just as good in September as they will at Thanksgiving.
8. Entertainment
Rewatching You’ve Got Mail — September makes me crave “bouquets of sharpened pencils” energy. It’s cozy, it’s nostalgic, and it’s basically a fall mood board disguised as a rom-com.
9. Wellness
Lemme Sleep gummies — use code HOLLEY15 for 15 percent off. They’re the cozy nightcap I swear by without morning grogginess. I just started trying Lemme Burn, a metabolism booster capsule and fat burner designed to reduce belly fat. With B vitamins and green tea, it’s the energy kick I didn’t know I needed. I was in full Hulk mode at the gym this morning.
10. Accessory
A new fall suede or basket bag — both are trending hard right now. They instantly make a simple outfit look intentional and pulled together. Shop all my favorite fall bags here.
